Australia

Our returns policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

1. Change of Mind

Depending on the product or promotion, PBT may offer a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • Items are unused.
  • Tags are attached (if applicable).
  • Items are in their original packaging.
2. Defective Products

Our products come with a 12-month warranty to protect you against defects.

For products with a major defect, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement.

For products with minor issues, PBT will repair or replace the product as appropriate.

To report a defective product, please contact us at customerservice@pbt.dance within 30 days of identifying the issue. Include proof of purchase, a description of the defect, and supporting photos if applicable.

3. Proof of Purchase

Proof of purchase is required for all returns, exchanges, and warranty claims. Acceptable forms of proof include:

  • Receipt
  • Bank statement
  • Order confirmation email

5. Shipping Costs

Voluntary Exchanges: Customers are responsible for the shipping cost to return the item to PBT. PBT will cover the cost of shipping the replacement product to the customer.

Defective or Faulty Items: PBT will replace the faulty product at no cost to the customer, including covering all shipping costs for the return and replacement (if any are applicable).

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.

Store credits will be issued within 3 business days and can be used for future purchases from our store.

Disclaimer

In the event of any conflict, local state or provincial laws will take precedence.

Europe (Including EU and non-EU countries)

This policy applies to customers in European Union member states, as well as non-EU European countries including Norway and Switzerland, and is designed to comply with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable local laws.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you are based in the European Union or a participating non-EU European country, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right:
Contact us at customerservice@pbt.dance within 14 days of receiving your order, providing your order number and confirmation that you wish to withdraw. You may also use the model withdrawal form provided at the end of this policy.

Return shipping:
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Items must be returned to us within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to withdraw.

Refund:
Once we receive the returned goods, we will refund the purchase price plus the cost of the original standard outbound delivery (the least expensive standard delivery option we offer) within 14 calendar days. We will not refund any premium or express shipping costs above the standard rate.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

2. Condition of Returned Goods
Items must be returned in their original condition. You may handle goods as you would in a physical shop, to inspect their nature, characteristics, and fit, but goods must not have been actively used or washed. If the value of the goods is diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary for this assessment, we reserve the right to deduct an amount reflecting that diminished value from your refund.

All garments must have tags attached and be returned in their original packaging.

3. Sealed Hygiene Products (Exemption)
Certain products are exempt from the right of withdrawal once their factory seal has been broken, due to health protection and hygiene reasons. These include:

Backalast compression tops, leggings, and similar close-fitting activewear supplied in a sealed factory satchel that is worn in direct contact with the skin during use.

If you receive one of these products in a sealed satchel and return it with the factory seal intact within 14 days, the standard cooling-off return right applies. However, once the factory seal has been broken, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to these products and they cannot be returned under this policy (unless faulty, see Section 4).

4. Faulty Products
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, PBT will:

- Provide a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.
- Cover the cost of return shipping and the shipping of any replacement product.

To report a fault, contact customerservice@pbt.dance within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include photos and a description of the issue.

5. Exchanges
For faulty products: We will send a replacement free of charge.

Voluntary exchanges (e.g. size changes):
- You are responsible for the return shipping cost.
- PBT will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item to you.
- Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be returned in original, unworn condition with tags attached and in original packaging.

6. How to Return or Exchange
1. Contact us: Email customerservice@pbt.dance with your order number and reason for return or exchange. For faulty items, include photos.
2. Receive instructions: We will confirm your return authorisation and provide return address details.
3. Pack securely: Ensure the item is well-packaged to prevent transit damage.
4. Ship the item: Use a tracked postal or courier service. Retain proof of postage until your refund or exchange is confirmed.
5. Processing: Refunds are issued within 5 calendar days of us receiving the returned goods. Exchanges are dispatched within 1 business day of receiving your return.

Japan & South Korea

Our returns policy complies with Japan’s Consumer Contract Act and South Korea’s Consumer Protection Act, ensuring fairness and transparency.

Japan: We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, we offer exchanges or store credit within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • Items are unused.
  • Tags are attached (if applicable).
  • Items are in their original packaging.

South Korea: Customers have the right to cancel or return a purchase within 7 days of receiving the product without providing a reason, as stipulated under the Consumer Protection Act. Beyond 7 days, we offer exchanges or store credit within 30 days of purchase, under the same conditions as Japan.
