Not just for the plot, PBT offers a long-term comprehensive solution to instability, weakness and injury in dancers.

Motivated by a passion to support dancers in their training and address common physical imbalances, PBT’s founder, Marie Walton-Mahon OAM created a method that combines all the green flags of pilates, conditioning and physiotherapy.

The success of our qualified teachers and their students is testament to one important fact: when it comes to meeting dancers’ needs, PBT understood the assignment.

Marie Walton-Mahon OAM

Renowned and accomplished ballet dancer and educator Marie Walton-Mahon, with over five decades of experience, is the driving force behind PBT. Having studied ballet in Australia and France, she gained valuable insights at Les Ballet de Marseille, where she learned from the legendary Maya Plisetskaya about the significance of mind and body preparation.
